Block by block

The build has started with the past month an intense period of block laying.
We have had wonderful Parents and Neighbours lending a helping hand to keep the kids looked after.
The blocks are going up one by one. At first the mortar is a dark grey colour which dries to a nice sandy white.

All of the beautiful timber lintels are in place bar one. I have covered them with black plastic to keep the rain off them. I will aim to get a picture of the uncovered lintels soon.
